Our tallest tree: a fresh-cut 8ft pine (about 2.4m) for high ceilings, stairwells and big open-plan rooms. From $200, delivered and stood up by two elves on set days in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, or choose one in person at our stores.

Measure from floor to ceiling and allow about 30cm for the stand and the topper.

Most Australian homes have 2.4m ceilings, which suit a 7ft tree. Go 8ft for raked or high ceilings, double-height entries and stairwells.

Why choose an 8ft tree

A tree that fills the room. If your ceiling goes up to 2.7m or beyond, a 7ft tree can look a little lost. An 8ft tree reaches up into the space and gives you room for more lights, more decorations and a proper star on top.

Two elves, every time. An 8ft tree is a two-person lift, so we send two elves on our dedicated 8ft delivery days to carry it in and stand it up for you.

How it works

    Step 1: Pick 8ft and a day

    Pop in your postcode and choose the 8ft tree. We'll show you the 8ft delivery days on your route. Add a Large stand while you are there.

    Step 2: Two elves deliver

    Two of our strong and mighty elves bring your tree fresh from the farm, carry it in and stand it up, ready to decorate.

    When the season is out, we collect your tree and return it to the farm for mulching. It never goes to landfill.

8ft tree questions

What ceiling height do I need for an 8ft tree?

At least 2.7m (9ft). The tree itself is about 2.4m, and the stand and topper add around 30cm. If your ceiling is a standard 2.4m, a 7ft tree will sit more comfortably.

Why is 8ft delivery only on some days?

An 8ft tree needs two people to carry and stand up safely, so we run dedicated two-elf deliveries on set days in late November and early December. Pop your postcode in above to see the 8ft days on your route.

Where do you deliver 8ft trees?

Across our Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane delivery areas, on our 8ft days. In regional Victoria you can click & collect an 8ft tree from one of our stores. 8ft delivery isn't available on the Gold Coast this season.

Can I order an 8ft tree with other trees?

Yes. If your order includes an 8ft tree for delivery, the whole order comes on one of the 8ft days, so everything arrives together.

Which stand do I need?

The Large stand. When you choose 8ft, we only offer stands that fit, so you can't pick the wrong one. A stand with water in it is what keeps a real tree fresh.

How do I look after a tall tree?

A big tree drinks a lot, especially in its first week, so top up the stand daily to start with and keep it away from heaters and direct sun. Looked after like that, it will see out the season beautifully.

Can I pick up an 8ft tree from a store?

Yes, click & collect works any day our stores are open. Choose the 8ft tree and click & collect at checkout, or find your nearest store and choose one in person.

Do you take the tree away afterwards?

Yes — in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Book a collection and our elves come back in January, take the tree, and mulch it on the farm. You can add it when you order or arrange it later.
