Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Real Christmas Experience Pty Ltd (ABN: 66 651 165 169), trading as The Tree Elves, located at 5855 Princes Highway, Irrewarra, Victoria, 3249.

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to customers who have purchased a real Christmas Tree from The Tree Elves in 2024. Proof of purchase may be required.
• Entrants must reside in Australia and be aged 18 years or older.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of The Tree Elves Pty Ltd are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

The competition opens on November 23rd 2024 and closes at 4:00 PM AEST on December 24 2024. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

• To enter, participants are to decorate their real Christmas tree and upload a photo of their decorated tree to Instagram or Facebook.
• Posts must tag @realchristmastreeelves.
• Entries must comply with Instagram and Facebook’s community guidelines and terms of use.
• Only one entry per person is permitted.

5. Judging

• This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
• Entries will be judged by The Tree Elves team based on creativity, originality, and festive spirit.
• The decision of the judging panel is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize

• The winner will receive $1,000 AUD cash.
• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for other goods or services.
• Any tax implications arising from the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

7. Winner Announcement

• The winner will be announced on the official ‘The Tree Elves’ Instagram and Facebook accounts (@realchristmastreeelves) on 24th December 2024 at 7:00PM AEST.
• The winner will also be notified via direct message on the social media platform they entered with.

8. Claiming the Prize

• The winner must respond to the notification in order to claim their prize.

9. Additional Terms

• By entering, participants agree that their submitted content may be used by The Tree Elves for promotional purposes, including reposting on social media and other marketing materials.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected as part of the competition will be used in accordance with The Tree Elves’ Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

• The Tree Elves is not responsible for any technical or platform-related issues that may affect entry submissions.
• The Tree Elves reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition at its discretion, including but not limited to situations where the competition is unable to proceed as planned due to unforeseen circumstances, technical failures, or events beyond The Tree Elves’ control.
• To the extent permitted by law, The Tree Elves is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by participants in connection with the competition or prize.
